The folks at the Pantone Color Institute have weighed in on a few design trends they expect to see dominate the market in the upcoming year. After conducting a bit of our own research, we have to agree with them! (They are the color and trend experts, after all.) Read on to discover 5 styles predicted to prevail in 2018!

Geometric Mania

Triangles, hexagons, diamonds... geometric shapes of all kinds are popping up in the gift, home decor and fashion industries! Think modern, clean lines imbued with cultural influences.

Warm Metals

While metallic finishes have had a stronghold in the design industry for decades, gone are the cool-tone metals of the early digital era. Chrome, Pewter and Stainless Steel have been ousted by Rose Gold, Copper and Champagne, lending luxurious warmth to architecture, home decor, tableware and more.

Intensely Hued

The importance of color is evident in the emotions it evokes, and the brighter the hue the more intense the feeling. From passionate red and luxurious amethyst to happy yellow and serene cerulean, intense colors are being used by designers to breathe life and vigor into inanimate objects.
