Lynne is a Rhode Island native and has been a professional
artist for over thirty years. Her specialty is traditional New England
folk art, brought to life through her own expression. Primarily self
taught, she has established herself as a well-known artist throughout
New England with an extensive following of serious collectors.
Lynne operates and teaches out of her studio in historic Chepachet.
She loves to travel and teach, promoting her designs across the country.
Lynne has designed and markets a line of instructional pattern packets
which are currently being translated for distribution in the international
market. She is presently working on her second design book.
The evolution of Lynne’s style can best be described as a “softened” interpretation
of American folk art that smoothes the harsh edges of the traditional
style, with much emphasis on detail. |
