For the past 28 years, Juanita has been involved with decorative painting. Juanita teaches painting classes that are in demand at conventions and throughout the United States, Canada and Japan. In 1990 she earned the Certified Decorative Artist distinction. 

Juanita’s decorative painting books have been on the best seller lists and she has had designs published in several painting magazines. She painted a line of nutcrackers for Zim’s, a distributor/importer.

She has also developed a love for watercolors. Juanita is a two-star member of the Utah Watercolor Society and earned her signature membership in the spring of 2004. In 1998 Juanita received an award of merit. In 2001 one of her paintings was accepted for the Western Federation Art Show.
